My name is Alejandra Felix Campos. However, you can all call me “Ale.” I am a proud Muir student (GO MUIR!). I was born and raised in Ensenada, Mexico. I went to Mater Dei High School, in Chula Vista. I am currently, a third-year student, majoring in Human Biology. After college, I am planning to get my Master’s degree in Biology, and then going to Medical School.
My goal for this class is to get to know YOU, and for you to get to know your peers. I want to develop my mentorship skills and help you transition to UCSD. I wish for everyone to learn from each. I want to teach you, but as well I want to hear what you have to say.
My advice for any new student can be summarized in one sentence: GET INVOLVED! By doing so, you will develop your skills, get to know people, prepare for your future academic goals, and maintain a balance in your life. Try to explore new types organizations, clubs, and jobs. You might be surprised of what you will learn.
“The aim of an argument or discussion should not be victory, but progress.” -Joseph Joubert
