Berkeley Ming History Reading Group. We are a small group dedicated to reading the Mingshi. Our sessions combine intensive and extensive reading; each session, a convener (TBD each week) leads the group in a guided reading of a particular juan, introducing issues of historical, literary, and linguistic interest. For the other half of the meeting, members discuss a selection of other juan more broadly. We meet by Zoom on Sunday mornings from 9-11 a.m. PST twice a month. Please contact seancronan@berkeley.edu for more information.
